Christmas 2014

Christmas in April!  Or at least memories of Christmas in April.  A few days before Christmas we enjoyed going to the Holiday Pops at Symphony Hall.  It was our first symphony concert as a family; and the Bug's love to music shone through.  On Christmas Eve, the Pea played the part of Jesus and the Big was an angel in the church pageant.  Christmas Day was full of presents, yummy food and fun.  The Pea certainly enjoyed her first Christmas; and the Bug relished every moment  of it--particularly because he got to stay in his pajamas all day long.

On the way to the Pops!

Coming down the stairs to find that Santa came!
And he filled our stockings with treats.
Including an awesome Mizzoue hat and a shark tooth necklace.  All of a sudden, the Bug was a cool surfer kid.

The Bug's first Christmas present for the Pea--a moving turtle.
Cozied up in the beautiful quilt that Nana made.

Weekend fun with Grandad

Dad flew down to DC for a few days; and Grandad flew up from DC for a few days for a weekend of fun--with the Bug's first trip to the CIRCUS!

The Bug's Birthday

The Bug turned 4 in February!  How quickly the time has flown.  His celebration spanned a week, starting with a fun weekend in Virginia to visit Nana, Grandad, Uncle Chris and the Air & Space Museum.  On his actual birthday we flew back to Boston, and the pilot wished him a happy birthday before take off (talk about awesome).  The following weekend his gym/ dinosaur/ teenage mutant ninja turtle party was great.

The Pea's first flight--she was a great flyer.

Climbing on a sculpture on the National Mall, after visiting the Air & Space Museum with Nana, Grandad & Uncle Chris.
Sir Farwell, in Uncle Chris' armor.  It was (very) heavy.
Flying home as a 4 year old!
